Students can't access the list in vUWS

 Ensure the list is Published.

I can't can't access the list in vUWS

Log in to vUWS with your Western ID (no need to log in as a test student) and click the Readings & Resources tab. If FAQs for error messages don't help, please email readingsdirect@westernsydney.edu.au for assistance

Browser advice

The recommended internet browsers for Leganto are:

  • Chrome
  • Firefox
  • Safari

Leganto has known issues in Internet Explorer and Edge.

I requested a chapter digitisation and the PDFs are not there

Scanning is limited by copyright, so chapter PDFs may be limited by the Library. Sometimes the book is not available so scanning can take time.

Error message: Response code 404 unknown user

There may be a problem with your Library account (typically casual contractors). To resolve this issue, please contact the Library and provide a copy of your contract indicating the last date of work. Once your Library record is updated, access to reading lists will be immediate.

Error message: Illegal Institution - Please try again

Enable cookies in the browser (or use another browser which allows cookies).
