Assistance is available in person or online. We have specialists to help you study, find information or write your assignment.

Library staff

 

Library staff are available to help you with finding resources for your assignments.

If you have any questions at all, please ask. We are always happy to help.

Online Librarian

An Online Librarian can help when you are busy working on your assignment at home or even in the library and don't want to leave your desk.

Simply phone us on (02) 9852 5353 or use the Online Librarian chat box on the right hand side of this page.

If your question is not urgent or you need to show us an example, Email Us and we will reply during opening hours.

Studiosity

Would you like some advice about writing your assignment?

  • Get feedback on your assignment draft or ask a study

question anytime.

  • You can use Studiosity 10 times per sesion.
  • Log in directly from your vUWS dashboard Opens in a new window.

 

How to log in to Studiosity:

1. Log in to vUWS Opens in a new window using your normal WesternAccount

details your student ID number and password).

2. Look for the Studiosity item on your My vUWS dashboard.

3. Follow the prompts to access the service.

 

Get help online two ways:

  1. Writing Feedback
    “Here’s my file, I’ll come back later.”

    Upload your written assignment draft anytime to receive comments and suggestions for how you can improve your own work, usually within 24 hours.

  2. Connect Live Interactive Classroom
    “I have a question and need help right now.”

    Log in to access one-to-one, personalised help in real time with chat, collaborative whiteboard and file sharing. Friendly subject specialists are available online 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to help you with tricky study questions in maths, stats, English and more.
