"Women and Whitlam: Revisiting the Revolution" edited by Whitlam Fellow Professor Michelle Arrow, has been launched.
Discover the untold story of the women's movement in Australia and the transformative reforms of the Whitlam government.
Inspired by the powerful inaugural public forum, "Revisiting the Revolution," held at Old Parliament House, Canberra, on 25 November 2019. It brings together three generations of influential voices, including Elizabeth Evatt, Eva Cox, Patricia Amphlett, Elizabeth Reid, Tanya Plibersek, Heidi Norman, Blair Williams, and Ranuka Tandan. Together, they reappraise the Whitlam revolution and pave the way for a future built on its foundations.
