As the Paris 2024 Olympic Games approach, join us in celebrating the excitement and legacy of the Olympics by exploring a unique collection of historical artifacts from the Whitlam Prime Ministerial Collection.
Highlights of the Collection include:
Sydney 2000 Olympics bid, Africa trip, July-August 1993: Mr and Mrs Whitlam were part of the delegation travelling to various African countries. The collection includes a folder of briefing notes for the trip, a photograph of Mr. and Mrs. Whitlam boarding the Sydney 2000 charter airplane at Nairobi Airport in Kenya, and itinerary details for their travel on 2 August 1993.
