Brain Break Activities

We’ve seen you studying hard all Autumn session in the Library. Do you need time to recharge?

Take a brain break at your campus Library, each weekday between 13-24 May, there will be daily activities to help you relax and recharge your braincells.

Meet a friend at the Library and flex your creativity in some of the following Brain Break activities:

  • Origami
  • Friendship bracelets
  • Colouring in
  • Lego
  • Makey makey kits
  • Whiteboard Sudoku

Taking regular Brain Breaks in university life helps to:

  • Reduce stress and anxiety
  • Increase your wellbeing
  • Overcome procrastination or negative thoughts
  • Re-energise and re-motivate you
  • Balance your study life, work life and social life

Library Sleep pods
While you’re on campus, hop into the Library Sleep pod for a relaxing 20-minute sequence of music and lights.

Muse head bands
Muse head bands can help you develop meditation skills through 4 guided meditation modes. Borrow a headset from your Library and try it out with the accompanying app.
